ERIC DIAZ

Eric oversees Envision Cold's finance division and is responsible for driving measurable value by establishing core financial processes and reporting and helping shape the overall strategy and direction of the organization. 

Prior to founding Envision Cold, Eric served as Senior Director of Finance with Americold, the second largest and only publicly traded cold storage provider in the world, where he led all regional and operations finance activities for their North America warehouse, transportation, and 3PL managed business segments. He also helped support the company’s IPO launch in 2018 and played a critical part in the integration of several acquisitions that followed. 

Eric started at Americold in 2007 as a labor planning specialist in Atlanta. After six months, he moved to their financial planning and analysis team, where he held various corporate and regional finance roles across business segments. He found his passion working alongside business leaders as their finance business partner, helping them drive profitability at their sites through cost savings initiatives, pricing, and operational efficiencies. 

Eric holds a BS degree in Accounting from DeVry University as well as an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management.

On the weekends, Eric and his wife enjoy cheering on their four children at sporting events, volunteering with charitable organizations to help fight childhood cancer, and whenever possible, getting away to Santa Rosa Beach for vacation.
