AUSTIN SOLEM

Austin leads Envision Cold in developing core capabilities while directing the operating, commercial, and investment strategies for the company.

Prior to founding Envision Cold, Austin served as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions with Americold, the second largest and only publicly traded cold storage provider in the world, where he was instrumental in structuring acquisitions totaling $4.6B and comprising 99 facilities in 12 countries. Austin also played a pivotal role in taking Americold public in 2018, during his time in the corporate finance department.

During his eight years at Americold, Austin developed and ran the company’s current forecasting and budgeting processes which helped launch the IPO in 2018. Shortly after the public offering, he launched and ran their first M&A department.

Austin earned his BBA from the University of Georgia and his MBA from Emory University, where he concentrated in corporate finance and capital markets. 

Austin and his wife, a second grade teacher, enjoy supporting their two sons in school and sports and cheering on their favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs.
